Concert Mania!
It is going to be a MOVIE + MAKING kind of time! We are exploring graphic design and architecture with Concert Mania! We plan to design concert tickets, posters, merch, and a stage set!

Disney and Pixar’s “Turning Red” introduces Mei Lee (voice of Rosalie Chiang), a confident, dorky 13-year-old torn between staying her mother’s dutiful daughter and the chaos of adolescence. Her protective, if not slightly overbearing mother, Ming (voice of Sandra Oh), is never far from her daughter—an unfortunate reality for the teenager. And as if changes to her interests, relationships and body weren’t enough, whenever she gets too excited (which is practically ALWAYS), she “poofs” into a giant red panda! Directed by Academy Award® winner Domee Shi (Pixar short “Bao”) and produced by Lindsey Collins, Turning Red released on March 11, 2022.
School Age Studio is available on select School District of Philadelphia (SDP) half-days/early dismissals and full days off, we offer a hands-on, project-based design workshop that allows students to be designers in a studio. Students will learn the design process through activities and exercises to design and build a project individually and/or as a team. Each studio introduces how we see design everywhere and projects based on one or more design disciplines.
FULL DAY* OFFERINGS are broken up into three parts of the day, in case you need some of the day or all of the day.
Morning Pass 9:30am-12:30pm
Half-Day Pass 12:30-3:30pm
Extended Care Pass 3:30-5:30pm
*If your student(s) is staying for a full-day, they must bring lunch. We cannot provide lunch at this time.

Must register 48 hours prior to studio to be admitted. Any available seats within the 48 hours prior to studio starting will include a surcharge of $5-$15 per pass.
