Skill Swap Club: Neighbors Helping Neighbors

Skill Swap Club is a neighbor-to-neighbor exchange that reconnects people by sharing what we know.

This idea emerged from a Design Gym workshop during Philly Tech Week, where strangers from different backgrounds came together to solve everyday human problems. Facilitated by Chitsanzo Isaac, our group identified skill swapping as a response to isolation and lack of accessible support systems.

🎟 Cost: FREE and/or a snack to share or contribute to the snacks fund (as a sliding scale ticket)

What to expect:

• Check-in, mingle, snacks

• Welcome + Rules of Engagement

• 20-minute skill share demo

• Find a spot to work on an in-progress project, OR connect with other community members

• Add to our in search of (ISO) skills wall

• Continue connecting
