We’re excited to host another Design A Doodad workshop for 2026 Philly Tech Week!
Tech is for everyone! We’re inviting pre-startup tech founders, UI designers and curious, parents and their youth to join us for an evening to introduce the founders and parents behind the Tiny Jawn platform Abrigail & Brandon Him with Design Gym founder Erike De Veyra facilitating a dialogue of opportunity, building, and community. Enjoy a pizza dinner and an analog user interface (UI) design project after the conversation.
Design A Doodad is a Design Gym series of hands-on workshops for all ages + experiences to learn about design foundation principles and demystify the design process in the disciplines of architecture, fashion, graphic + textile design, to name a few.
Registration includes designer(s) introductions, instruction, materials, light refreshments AND skills/knowledge + a project to take home!
Workshops are scheduled on weeknights and weekend days/times at least twice a month.
OPEN TO ALL adult and youth designers.
Prior design experience is not required
